To Download your motherboard's bios for Gigabyte, please click here
To see the bios upgrade procedures in details, please click here.

The whole BIOS updating procedure should be treated with extreme caution. If you do not encounter any system instability or bugs with the current BIOS version, we suggest that you keep it. If you determine to flash BIOS, you are taking a personal risk of BIOS flash failure. Please contact your supplier or our distributors/resellers for further remedy in case system crashes unfortunately because of BIOS flash failure.

Before you begin...

1. Please make sure the BIOS version you want to flash matches your motherboard model.
2. If your BIOS is flash protected, please do not enable BIOS Flash Protection under Advanced CMOS Setup (AMI BIOS) or Advanced BIOS Features (AWARD BIOS) in BIOS menu.
3.Never interrupt when you BIOS is being updated.
4.Because BIOS flashing is potentially risky, if you do not encounter problems using the current version of BIOS, it is recommended that you not flash the BIOS. To flash the BIOS, do it with caution. Inadequate BIOS flashing may result in system malfunction.

Before You Begin: Before you start updating BIOS with the Q-Flash™ utility,
Please follow the steps below first.

1.Download the latest BIOS for your motherboard from Gigabyte’s website.
2. Extract the BIOS file downloaded and save the BIOS file to USB flash drive. (usb thumb drive must be less than 1gb) Motherboard did not read any usb flash drive more than 1gb. (We used USB Flash Thumb drive to update bios). With Q-Flash™ utility, please do not cross too many BIOS versions at one time if your current BIOS version is rather old. For example, do not cross from F1 to F12, but to flash from F1 to F4 and F4 to F8 and so on.
3. Reboot your PC and press Del to enter BIOS menu.

Updating BIOS with Q-Flash™ Utility on Dual BIOS Motherboards.

Some of Gigabyte motherboards are equipped with dual BIOS. In the BIOS menu of the motherboards supporting Q-Flash™ and Dual BIOS, the Q-Flash™ utility and Dual BIOS utility are combined in the same screen. This section only deals with how to use Q-Flash™ utility.

Step 1: To use Q-Flash™ utility, you must press Del in the boot screen to enter BIOS menu.
Step 2: Press F8 button on your keyboard and then Y button to enter the Q-Flash™utility.
