Our goal is customer satisfaction by exchanging, or refunding, as outlined in this policy. Before buying please check all hardware listed on the efix compatible hardware list. We do suggest hardware that we test locally, because we are familiar with the configuration but other listed hardware works fine as well. We want you to understand the product before you buy. It is very simple and straight forward product. Assemble your computer according to efix hardware list, and follow the guide, and that is all there to it. This is the only product that is hassle free and hardware based boot loader in market.
RETURNS: If, for any reason, you wish to return EFiX, you may return it via mailing or insured parcel post, undamaged, and must be resalable condition within 30 days of purchase; and 15 days of purchased for all computers. All products returned to zougate.com are charged a 15% restocking fee. Any custom charges including, duties, taxes and brokerage fees are the sole responsibility of the recipient. We do not refund shipping fee.
Does zougate cross-ship?
ZouGate does not cross-ship any efix. We check and test every single efix before shipping (therefore you package may not be wrap with plastic). We update the firmware to the most updated version or most compatible version before shipping therefore EFiX is almost impossible to be defective when you receive it. Due to the nature of this product and manufacturer rules and regulations for any exchange has to be pre-approved by efix manufacturer. If we received unit within 30 days and it is defective or burned, we will contact you and trying to work out a solution; you may need to pay a repair fee, if determined by efix manufacture. Efix product is made with very high standard components so cases of defective are almost none existing. If we receive product not resalable or missing accessories there maybe additional charge for accessories and/or if efix is deemed defective there may not be a full refund giving.
What should I do if my efix is not found under motherboard bios and/or if I believe my efix is burned?
We are sorry for your trouble. We do not fix efix. If your efix is burned within 30 days, please contact us and we will pay the shipping cost to Taiwan Lab (ASEM) repair center. If the cause of efix burn due to pluging the efix in firewire port then we require you to pay for the shipping as that void the efix warranty and you just burned your efix. EFIX MUST BE PLUG CORRECTLY TO USB PORT HEADER ON MOTHERBOARD. If your efix is over 30 days please ship your efix to ASEM directly; please contact them on their Skype id: “abc19222” to check your shipping address or any other information they may require. It takes us approximately 5 to 10 business days to process your refund. Your credit card may take additional 2-3 business days.
Does zougate.com pay the return shipping cost for defective merchandise?
No, zougate.com does not pay the return shipping cost for defective merchandise. We are not responsible for product defects; because we do not manufacture the products we carry furthermore it is almost impossible for product to be defective upon arrival as we test every single unit we ship. Product not been compatible due to firmware update; it is not our responsibility as firmware update at your own risk, you assume the risk when you update the firmware.
